What keeps us going is the strength displayed by our beneficiaries. One such example is Mr Ang Ah Hua, who maintains a cheerful outlook on life despite being blind and undergoing regular dialysis. Inspired by the support he received from Tzu Chi, he chooses to give back by collecting coins in Tzu Chi’s bamboo coin banks and donating them.
This cycle of giving and receiving heartens us. It reminds us that compassion is more than charity — it is a force that uplifts, empowers, and creates a ripple effect of goodness throughout our community.
