The funds will support Tzu Chi’s Seeds of Hope programme, which offers bursaries, merit awards, companionship and mentorship to children and youths from care beneficiary households. This steady flow of financial aid to primary, secondary and tertiary students will ensure all of them can enjoy equal opportunities and access to quality education.
A big portion of the funds will also go towards the operations and empowerment programmes of Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre. One of the programmes is Kidz Hideout, an after-school befriending programme for children with high social and emotional needs.
